Day one into my ownership of a Motorola Xoom and I am almost blind. I wanted to experience a stock Xoom without any changes to understand the designer’s perspective at Motorola. I am starting to think they designed this in a very dark cave and neglected to bring even a flashlight to test the glare on this pretty little device.
I have a series of four photos that help show the glare issues I am writing about. Please be your own judge and post some comments if you have your own experiences to share. You will also notice the nasty fingerprints which are developing on the stock device after one day of use.
I grabbed a screen protector from the Xoom Accessories Store and it is shipping to my business as I write this.I will update this blog post with Before/After.

Just a quick follow-up to this article that I also purchased the Motorola 3-pack display protectors from my local Verizon store and will compare this to the Skinomi TechSkin brand.
It’s been 2 weeks. Any update? I’ve got the same glare problem. Need a solution.
