The Motorola Xoom’s browsing capabilities are now complete with the launch of Adobe Flash 10.2. This crucial feature will give Xoom owners an almost genuine web experience, with the ability to watch movies (hello, Youtube!) and play games straight from the browser, instead of using apps for streaming like the iPad 2.
Adobe Flash Player for Android still doesn’t support hardware graphics acceleration -which translates to no HD video playback yet- however 720p HD video playback will be added in a subsequent update, according to an Adobe statement to Engadget. Flash integration into the Adobe browser is also being ironed out.
Flash 10.2 is now available for free download at the Android Market.
